4 adults with 2 children on Sunday at 18.00 have visited the Schlossschänke for the first time to eat. Unfortunately that was not a very good idea that day. The tavern was well visited and as we later learned only 2 service staff (very nice) were present, which had their hands full to entertain the many guests sufficiently. However, that does not explain why both of our medium-ordered onion roast beef were definitely "through" Pity about the really nice piece of meat. The service offered the redemption, but that would have been a waste, because the meat was good, with very tasty home-made spaetzle for 19.90 euros. The small salad costs 4.90 extra. The ordered dark sauce has not arrived so that I was allowed to eat the last third of the roasted onion roast still dry. Meanwhile, the waiting time at the neighboring tables was already more than an hour. As a small excuse, there was no estate, no schnapps, no ice ball for the kids or any other appropriate attention. Well, too bad. Nevertheless, we were very happy about the stay in the very nice beer garden and try it again sometime.

There were just three of us here, due to the positive Google Maps reviews. The Schloss-Schänke is very pretty and cute, modernly renovated and maintained. The waitresses are friendly and open-minded and available for some jokes, so you immediately feel at home. The food was delicious, adequate, and fair in price. The bread was visible and tasted absolutely fresh and very cool, we had ordered bread to snack on. Oh yes and what I attach great importance to, the cutlery was in very good condition, the fork was wide and the knife was sharp ? When we are back in the area, the Schloss Schänke is worth a visit again
